Dump Truck System Samples

When a prospective client approaches us, we interview to see how the company performs their business.  Since 1991, we have not found two companies that do business the same way.  Thus, we customize each system for every user.  We begin by showing you a system that is similar.  Then we copy the screen, put your name on it and make changes.  The idea is to have the fastest possible screen in which to enter your information.  There is also an attempt to have the data entry users utilize as much of the keyboard as possible.  Although mouse users will also like the features provided.

Most users fit in the Equipment, Rolodex, and Receivables Manu options.  The difference comes to play in the Quoting, Customer Jobs, Dispatch, Invoicing and Paying screens for Employee Drivers and Independent Contractors.  These screens are show on other pages.  The following links will open a PDF file that shows how various companies are configured.

Dump Truck Software has well over 40 different variations.  If you do not see one on this page the fits, please e-mail  for more information.

TRMeMinn.  This version of the Dump Truck System is used by dump truck companies that invoice by the Hour, Tons or Load with an emphasis on projects and material delivery prices.  The customer job/project screen identifies projects and the assigned rates for trucking and material deliveries.  Dispatch is available but is not mandatory to use.  The billing screen bills the customer and sets up the payable at the same time.

TRMeP2P.  This suite of screens is tailored for companies that predominantly work hauling materials from quarry to quarry.  Pay statements are created for employee drivers and Independent Contractors.

TRMeSant.  This version of the Dump Truck System has been developed for trucking companies that simply want to grab a stack of tags/freight bills/tickets and enter them to create an invoice and set up the Independent Contractors and Company Drivers for paying.  Billing and paying rates are set up for locations and come in automatically when invoicing.  Thus, the managers can set the rates and the billing clerks simply select the city or location of the work.  Employee drivers can be paid by percentage and/or hourly.

TRMeVDH.   This version of the Dump Truck System is best used by companies that invoice Hourly, Tonnage, Load and even Material Sales.  Dispatch need not be used.  That is, when the freight bills come into the office, they can be checked in and stacked according to how they are to be invoiced.  There is a feature in the Invoicing Screen to enter weight tickets is a very fast manner.  What sets this invoicing screen apart from the many others is the ability to expeditiously enter a large quantity of weight tickets.  Once the driver, bill rate and pay rate are entered, the user need only type in the weight ticket number and quantity.  The quantity of weight tickets can also be entered ahead of time and then when the quantity entered match the number to enter, the navigation automatically navigates to select the next driver

TRMeOST This version of the Dump Truck System is best used by companies that invoice by the weight.  A special field for Haul Backs is present.  There is also a nice feature that bills a “Plant Fee” where applicable.  The [Quoting], [Preliminary Forms] and [Dispatch] are optional and will help organize your business but are not necessary for DTS operation.    The work process starts by ensuring that the customer has been entered.  Following that, customer jobs should be set up with the rates and locations.  When the tickets come into the office, they should be entered into the system.  This means entering the ticket numbers and quantities can be checked in and stacked according to how they are to be invoiced.  There is a feature in the Invoicing Screen to enter weight tickets is a very fast manner.

TRMeCDG This link describes some of the screens and reports for users that pull materials out of quarries and deliver to home owners and contractors.  This set of screens allows orders to be taken right into the computer.

The Dump Truck System billing screens invoice and set up the payable to drivers and Independent Contractors at the same time.  When invoicing and not paying a driver, it is much faster to use one of the Miscellaneous Invoice screens.
